We have three birthdays in three weeks in this family. Hudson has been patiently waiting for his turn. Today, he woke up and said, "It's my birthday! I'm free(three)!" He is super excited for his tractor cake, and for an afternoon of swimming with his floaties on (and parental supervision, of course).
The word that comes to mind when I think of Huddy Joe/Huds/HudBud, is "Happy!" He is joyful, wakes up with a smile, and loves to tickle, laugh hard from his belly, and snuggle. He gives Chapman huge, slobbery kisses. I'm not kidding-Chap's forehead is actually wet after Hud kisses him. Chap was crying recently and Hudson said, "Don't be sad, Baby ChapMINT. Big HudSINT is here!"
He loves "Big Ba-chines" (machines)and "mow-mows." Lucky for him, his grandpas both have John Deere tractors, so he gets lots of rides.
This photo of him sleeping during one of his afternoon naps reminds me how he is quickly growing up from toddler to little boy. Hudson, we sure love you! You are so special, and bring us SO MUCH JOY! God has blessed you with a sweet personality and an ability to make people smile. We pray that you will follow Him all your life. He has great plans for you.
